ANTONIO DA ROS
Antonio Da Ros was born in Venice in 1936. He studied at Carmini State Institute of Art and later he taught architecture.
After, Antonio worked for a brief period as designer in ceramics, but in 1958 he became a member of Cenedese's as art director. He perfomed this position for over 30 years.
He participated during the 60's and 70's in the Biennali of Venice, with sculptural works of strong effect and full of imagination.
One of his iconic characteristics is the bright colours used in the "Sommersi" glasses,, throughout 50's and 60's. But also the series of animals are pretty emblematic in his production, like the "Fish" presented in 1962 in Biennale.
